Retirement Home for Cats

Located in the foothills of the Berkshires, the Last Post is close to many of the area attractions - within minutes there are fine restaurants, old homes to look at, and antique shopping as well as the natural setting which is the primary attraction.

Falls Village, the greater Canaan area, Great Barrington, and the surrounding towns offer a stunning variety of activities and festivals during this season.

Winter is a busy time for us, as we work on different  projects and do maintenance on the buildings and property, renewing and repairing items that may  suffer during the winter months.

Of course, we can expect to be hit with many snowstorms and ice as all of the New England area does, but in spite of the expected poor weather, our staff manages to make it to work and to feed, water and take wonderful care of the cats.

Whether you are up for the day, a weekend, or even longer, making a stop en route to Vermont or Mass., we hope that you will stop by and visit us during this season.
Please be sure and fill out a contact form and ask to be added to our newsletter list so that you can be kept up to date with any news or events.
We look forward to seeing you soon!Located in the foothills of the Berkshires, the Last Post
